Tula for the second time hosts the national teams of Russia and Belarus on hockey

On May 12 and 13, the Tula Ice Palace hosts series matches between the national ice hockey teams of Russia and the Republic of Belarus. Such meetings are held in the region for the second year in a row. This time, two Tula graduates of AKM are participating in the national team of our country.
May 13, the match was attended by Governor Alexei Dyumin.
The head of the region and the president of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation, Vladislav Tretyak, took to the ice for a symbolic face-off.
The head of the region emphasized that such matches as today’s are especially important in this difficult time, when our athletes are deprived of the opportunity to participate in world-class competitions.
“Hockey is a team game, and the Tula region has a comprehensive approach to the development of hockey. We pay special attention to the creation of infrastructure. We are proud of our professional, amateur and children’s teams. We will continue this work and, together with the Russian Hockey Federation, raise future champions,” said Alexey Dyumin.
The Governor thanked Vladislav Tretiak, First Vice President of the Russian Hockey Federation Roman Rotenberg, as well as social partners for their help in developing hockey in the region.
Vladislav Tretyak noted that thanks to the care and care of Alexei Dyumin, Tula hockey is progressing. The famous hockey player presented the Governor with a hockey sweater of the Russia 25 team.
“Thanks to Alexey Dyumin for holding such matches in Tula for the second year in a row. This is a great holiday for us and for the spectators who have gathered to watch beautiful hockey,” said Vladislav Tretyak.
About 6,000 residents and guests of the region came to the matches on Friday and Saturday. A real holiday of sports with entertainment zones was organized for them.
