The open All-Russian cycling competitions on the track “Moscow Grand Prix” started at the Krylatskoye cycle track in Moscow. The best athletes of Russia, as well as representatives of the national teams of Belarus, Uzbekistan and Iran compete in the fight for medals.
The first day of the competition brought success to the Tula racer Sergey Rostovtsev, who took first place among men in scratch and won a silver medal in the tempo race. Among women, Natalia Frolova won silver in scratch.
In the team sprint, Alexander Dubchenko won gold, while Nikita Bykovsky won silver. A team consisting of Olga Goncharova, Serafima Grishina and Ksenia Andreeva received a bronze medal in this discipline.
There were also bright results in the individual races: Gulnaz Khatuntseva won the tempo race, and Savva Novikov became the third. In the junior category, Daria Evlanova won bronze in the team sprint.
Competitions continue, and athletes continue to fight for gold, silver and bronze, demonstrating a high level of training and professionalism on the track.
