Tula athletes won medals at the Russian Championship

In the Northern capital, the Russian Championship and the All-Russian indoor athletics competitions ended the day before, and the Tula residents brought home awards.
The age of participants in the Championship did not exceed twenty-three years, in all-Russian competitions – sixteen years.
“Tula athlete Yulia Yakunina won a bronze medal in the triple jump with a score of 13.20. The athlete is training under the leadership of ZTR Nikolai Zhulikov and Boris Spiridonov,” the editors at the Ministry of Sports of the Tula Region reported.
Among the younger athletes, Olesya Gerasimova from Tula won the sixty-meter distance and came third in the two hundred meters. And Vsevolod Safronov won silver in the two hundred meter race.
“MK in Tula” wrote: athletes from the Tula region occupied three prizes in Kaluga, where an interregional badminton tournament was held. About a hundred racket and shuttlecock masters took part in it, representing the Tver, Ryazan, Kaluga regions, the capital and the Moscow region. Tula have one gold and two bronze medals.
