Trutnev and Kiriyenko invited Putin to open special forces training centers in the regions

The presidential envoy to the Far East, Yuri Trutnev, and the first deputy head of the presidential administration, Sergei Kiriyenko, approached Vladimir Putin with a proposal to open training centers for special forces soldiers, similar to the Russian University of Special Forces in Chechnya in other regions. Earlier in the afternoon reportedthat Trutnev and Kiriyenko, together with the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, visited the base of the Russian University of Special Forces in Gudermes, where fighters of the volunteer detachment of the Russian Union of Martial Arts Soyuz are now being trained.

“Here, in Gudermes, such work has already been carried out professionally. Gudermes has become a center of learning not only for Chechnya, but also for a large part of the Russian Federation. We will continue this work together. We will create centers in other territories,” Trutnev said.

Kiriyenko also rated the center as highly professional, with a very well organized training system. Kadyrov told journalists that the center helps all structures located in the special operation zone, and added that every day from 15 to 50 volunteers come to the center for training.

The fact that the Russian Union of Martial Arts formed a detachment of volunteers to participate in a special operation in Ukraine, December 2 informed TASS with reference to Trutnev. According to the plenipotentiary, the detachment included 98 people.

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia, and on October 19 martial law was introduced in the regions.
