The streets of Blagoveshchensk were flooded in places.
This downpour, according to meteorologists, entered the top five most abundant June rains in the history of meteorological observations. The ranking of showers in descending order looks like this: the heaviest rain in June was in 2016 – 85.6 mm, in second place is 2020 – 82.4 mm, in third is 2010 and a downpour with precipitation of 67.5 mm, in fourth – the bad weather of 1929, then 66.6 mm fell.
