Transfers: Islam Slimani commits to Brest (official)

Islam Slimani is officially a Brest player. The 34-year-old Algerian striker, who had previously terminated the contract that bound him to Sporting CP (Portugal), signed on Thursday for a season with Brest, including another year as an option. Top scorer in the history of the Algerian selection (41 goals in 88 matches), Slimani finds his compatriots Youcef Belaïli and Haris Belkebla within the Breton club.
