Two athletes from Transbaikalia, Maria Potopa and Nadezhda Bulgakova, became 5 out of 17 teams at the All-Russian beach volleyball competition among veterans. The tournament took place in Anapa. This was reported on September 15 by the press service of the regional Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports.
“Many teams are participating in this tournament for the fifth time, and some more. In the fight for reaching the 1/2, we lost to a pair from Vladivostok with a score of 1:2, the last game continued in a bitter struggle until the score was 16:14,” the volleyball players said.
Next year the girls plan to become competition winners.
Earlier, MK in Chita wrote that extreme sportsman Evgeniy Kurnikov won three awards at once at mountain biking and BMX competitions at the KOSMOS Fest festival in Kaluga.
