Senator from the Khabarovsk Territory Sergei Bezdenezhnykh on Sunday headed the regional branch of the Just Russia – For Truth (SRZP) party in the Trans-Baikal Territory. A few days earlier, by decision of the federal leadership of the SRZP, the activities of the branch were suspended, all its members were expelled from the party, and the powers of the head of the cell, Nikolai Seleznev, and members of the council were terminated. In the Central Council of the SRHR, the cause of the scandal is called “insufficient activity of the department and inconsistency with new goals and objectives.” Mr. Seleznev refutes these arguments, regarding the events that took place as a “raider takeover.”
