Traktor won its third victory in a row

In Novosibirsk, Traktor left no chance for Siberia 3:0. The Chelyabinsk team scored goals from Semyon Der-Arguchintsev, Vitaly Kravtsov and Nikita Tertyshny. Zach Fucale also kept his goal intact.

The Chelyabinsk team entered the match in Novosibirsk with a suboptimal lineup: without their leaders Vladimir Tkachev, Maxim Shabanov and Artem Blazhievsky. But the defender traded from Magnitogorsk, Grigory Dronov, made his debut in the “black and white” uniform. He took a place in the third pair of defense along with Viktor Antipin. Another newcomer, Jack Rodwald, has not yet joined the team. For the first time in the last month, Nikita Tertyshny appeared in the lineup, who will definitely remain in Traktor at least until the end of the season. He took a place in the third line of attack. Despite the absence of Shabanov and Tkachev, Traktor started the game in Novosibirsk in a very masterly manner: with good control and an advantage in chances. In the middle of the first period, the Chelyabinsk pressure worked. The third line forced Sibir to make a mistake when leaving the zone and Semyon Der-Arguchintsev finished the puck into the goal with an interception.

In the second period, the same line scored a similar goal. This time, the hosts’ player Ziyat Paygin made a gross mistake when passing from behind his goal and put the puck directly on the hook of Vitaly Kravtsov, who had to deal with the goalkeeper. So the score became 2:0. The misadventures of “Sibir” did not end there. Towards the end of the period, Traktor converted the majority: Nikita Tertyshny shot powerfully and accurately from mid-range and celebrated his return to the lineup with his fourth goal of the season.

In the third period, even Sibir understood that the result had already been achieved. “Traktor” calmly brought the match to victory, and Zach Fucale gave himself a New Year’s gift in the form of a “dry” match.

3:0 – Traktor’s third away win in a row. Even without leaders, the Chelyabinsk team left no chance for Sibir. We note 2 (1+1) points from Vitaly Kravtsov and Zach Fucale’s fourth score of the season. Alexey Zavarukhin’s team will end 2023 with a match on December 30 in Astana against Barys.
