In the second home match of the season, Traktor hosted Dynamo Minsk and won 3:2. The Chelyabinsk team scored goals from Semyon Der-Arguchintsev, Viktor Antipin and Vladimir Zharkov.
Due to Vitaly Kravtsov’s injury in the last game (the striker will not be able to return to the ice for 4-6 weeks), the coaches had to significantly redraw the Traktor lineup. Only the first and fourth links remained unchanged. In the second, Nikita Tertyshny returned to his long-time partners Tkachev and Shabanov. Mikhail Rolgizer, as well as Artem Shvarev, who was released from Chelmet, moved to the third to the central Semyon Der-Arguchintsev. Egor Fateev was left out of the application. 17-year-old Artem Shuchinov has already become the seventh defender as usual. The place in goal was once again entrusted to Zach Fucala.
Traktor took the first period clean, although they were in no hurry to make shots. The first goal was scored by Semyon Der-Arguchttsev, taking advantage of the traffic at the Minsk goal. And soon the second puck was scored by Viktor Antipin, who accurately shot after the rebound from the goalkeeper. It happened eight seconds into the first majority of the match.
“Traktor” did not let go of the game in the second period, continuing to methodically increase its advantage. The fourth line worked with Sergei Kalinin who did not have time to change: Vladimir Zharkov finished off the puck into the goal after a throw from Mikhail Kotlyarevsky.
The third period almost turned the game around. At the very end, the guests showed their teeth and won back two goals. Jamel Smith and Timofey Kovgorenya reduced Dynamo’s gap to a minimum. But the Chelyabinsk team still held out and retained the victory.
3:2 – first home win of the season. Semyon Der-Arguchintsev fully lives up to expectations and scores his third goal for Traktor.
