Educational and training camps will be held for young Stavropol athletes with intellectual disabilities, the press service of the city administration reported.

To prepare young athletes for international and all-Russian tournaments in taekwondo and kickboxing, training camps will be held outdoors in the mountains.

They will be held in July under the leadership of Natalia Tagieva. Three meals a day, excursions, and cable car rides are provided.

“It is very important that more and more children with disabilities become part of the sports movement. As part of the training camp, for the first time there will be a camp for athletes with intellectual disabilities, noted the head of Stavropol, Ivan Ulyanchenko.

Any young athlete from the regional center can take part in the training camp. Applications are accepted until May 2. Details can be found by calling 8-928-810-14-84.
