Traffic will be blocked in the center of Moscow on the day of Putin’s address to the Federal Assembly

In the central part of Moscow tomorrow, February 29, traffic will be temporarily closed on a number of streets, reported capital department of transport. The restrictions will begin at 05:00 and will last “until the end of the event.” On February 29, President Vladimir Putin will address the annual message Federal Assembly in Gostiny Dvor. It will start at 12:00.

Traffic will be closed:

• on the street Varvarka from Kitaygorodsky Proezd to the Bolshoi Moskvoretsky Bridge;
• on the street Ilyinka from New Square to Red Square;
• on the street Moskvoretskaya from the Bolshoy Kamenny Bridge to the Kremlin Embankment;
• on the square Vasilievsky Spusk;
• on the Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge from the street. Varvarka to Lubochny Lane
• in the passage from the street. Ilyinka to st. Varvarka.

Also from 00:01 until the end of the event on the street. Ilyinka, Varvarka and Moskvoretskaya parking will be temporarily prohibited. For trips to the central part of Moscow, the Department of Transport recommended using public transport.
