On November 22, in connection with the opening ceremony of the monument to Fidel Castro, the traffic pattern in the area of Novopeschanaya Street will change.
So, the movement of buses along Novopeschanaya Street will be closed on November 22 from 9:00 until the end of the event, the Department of Transport of the capital reported.
Bus T6 for this period will run between the stopping points “District center” Neva “-” Seryogina Street “.
Route t43 will be divided into two parts. It will be possible to drive on it from Karamyshevskaya Embankment to Peschanaya Square and from Seregina Street to Coastal Passage.
Route t65 will change, and instead of Novopeschanaya Street and the Aeroport metro station, it will go along the streets of Aviakonstruktor Sukhoi and Marshal Shaposhnikov. The same changes await passengers on route t86.
And bus No. 175 will operate on the section from the Begovaya metro station to Peschanaya Square during the restrictions.
The restrictions will also apply to motorists.
On November 22, from 8:00 until the end of the event, only local residents will be able to drive along Novopeschanaya Street in the section from Peschanaya Square to Leningradsky Prospekt. And from 00:00 on November 22 until the end of the event, parking is prohibited on this site.
In addition, until 9:00 am on November 24, a U-turn is prohibited in the area of house 17, building 3 along Novopeschanaya Street.
Drivers are asked to choose detour routes.
