Two traffic inspectors were detained in Moscow on suspicion of taking a bribe.
As it became known to MK, the extortion itself took place on October 25 on Barrikadnaya Street. Inspectors of the 6th battalion of the traffic police stopped the car “Kia Rio”, which was used as a taxi. The driver did not have documents confirming the permission to transport passengers, and he was threatened with a fine of 5,000 rubles. Traffic cops asked for 9 thousand. The man paid them money, and later turned to the Department of Internal Security of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. A criminal case has been initiated.
