Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that traffic on the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya metro line has been fully restored and returned to schedule. Earlier, trains collided at the Pechatniki metro station, five people were injured.
“To check the infrastructure, two trains without passengers first passed through, all infrastructure and rolling stock underwent a full preliminary check,” the mayor wrote in Telegram channel.
Today, October 11, a train without passengers, which was being ferried to the depot, entered a stationary train at the Pechatniki station. After this, three metro stations on the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line were closed – Kozhukhovskaya, Pechatniki, Volzhskaya.
Among the victims was a driver who was pinned in the cab between two trains. At the moment, he was hospitalized in moderate condition with a broken leg. Head of the Moscow Metro Viktor Kozlovsky named The cause of the train running forward was the driver’s error.
