“Tractor” celebrated the anniversary of the meteorite with the defeat of “Sochi”

Traktor celebrated the 10th anniversary of the fall of the Chelyabinsk meteorite with a pre-match show and a special uniform. Hockey players also did not disappoint and defeated HC Sochi 5:0. Goals from Chelyabinsk were scored by Nikita Soshnikov, Vladimir Tkachev, Alexander Shepelev, Pyotr Khokhryakov and Ilya Karpukhin.
The composition of the Chelyabinsk team has changed somewhat compared to the previous game. In the second period, Traktor finally managed to realize its attacking potential. In the very first seconds, Nikita Soshnikov showed how to beat the goalkeeper and marked his return to the ice with a beautiful goal. In the middle of the period, Vladimir Tkachev used the guests’ mistake in defense, accurately throwing it into the far top corner. And after a few more minutes, Alexander Shepelev closed the transfer of Mikhail Kotlyarevsky with a powerful throw. Traktor had at least two more right moments, but three goals is a good result for the game segment.
In the third period, the Chelyabinsk team completed the defeat of the main outsider of the KHL. Pyotr Khokhryakov closed the combination perfectly lined by Kirill Kapustin and Theme Pulkkinen. Shortly after that, Ilya Karpukhin threw into the empty corner of the goal after the transfer of Andrey Stas.
5:0 – one of the most beautiful Traktor matches of the season. Thanks to this victory, the Chelyabinsk team improved their positions in the fight for the playoffs, but there is a difficult trip ahead, which will begin on February 19 with a match against the early winner of the regular season – SKA.
