The Japanese automotive corporation Toyota Motor has stated that it does not officially supply parts and assemblies to Russia.
As TASS was told in the press service of the concern, the company did not resume the supply of parts to Russia, as previously reported by the media. At the same time, spare parts that are not subject to sanctions can be imported by Russian dealers and used to service cars.
Earlier, Izvestia reported that at the end of December the concern allegedly resumed deliveries to Russia of spare parts that are not subject to sanctions.
At the same time, it was noted that the concern’s subsidiary in Russia allegedly allowed dealers to use parallel imports of spare parts subject to restrictions.
In September last year, Toyota closed its plant in St. Petersburg. The enterprise was designed to produce 100 thousand cars a year.
