“Tourism.RF” will draw up a master plan for the territory of the Kherson region

Corporation “Tourism.RF” will make a master plan for the territory of the Kherson region. About it informs TASS with reference to the office of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, who oversees the direction of the tourism sector in the government.

“The Deputy Prime Minister instructed the Tourism.RF Corporation to draw up a master plan for the territory, taking into account the unique natural conditions of the Kherson region, so that citizens, first of all, of this region can rest and restore their health here,” the Deputy Prime Minister’s office said.

As a result of a trip to the Zaporozhye region, Chernyshenko noted the importance of finding investors to create tourist facilities in new regions of the Russian Federation. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, applications are now being accepted for the construction of modular accommodation facilities in Russia, and new territories have a priority right to receive funding under this program as part of the Tourism and Hospitality Industry national project.

At the end of 2022, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed resolution, which included the head of the Ministry of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, as well as the heads of new regions of Russia, in the government commission for the development of tourism. In particular, the new members of the commission included the heads of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics Denis Pushilin and Leonid Pasechnik, as well as the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions Yevhen Balitsky and Volodymyr Saldo.
