Torpedo lost to SKA in the away match

On November 25, Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo hockey players played their next match of the KHL regular championship. The team from Nizhny Novgorod continues its away tour and this time Igor Larionov’s team stopped in St. Petersburg, where they fought for 2 points with a direct competitor in the Western Conference standings – SKA. Before the head-to-head confrontation, Torpedo was ahead of SKA by 3 points, but now the distance has decreased significantly.
The match for Torpedo was divided into two different parts. In the first half of the meeting, Torpedo beat SKA in all respects and dominated on the court, scoring 3 goals, it seemed that the job was done, but the second segment of the meeting remained with SKA. The St. Petersburg team was able to overcome a 3-goal deficit and send the match into overtime and a shootout. There the red-blues turned out to be luckier and snatched victory.
Torpedo will play its next regular season match on November 27. Nizhny Novgorod will play against Chelyabinsk Traktor.
