Torpedo hockey players will begin a series of matches against SKSO

The Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo hockey players continue to compete in the WHL regular championship for the 2023-2024 season. The team from Nizhny Novgorod feels great in the first half of the standings, claiming the highest places. The Torpedo women’s team played 30 official matches in the 2023-2024 season and was able to score 70 points, which now allows them to take 2nd place in the standings, second only to their rivals representing “Agidel” from Ufa.
In the upcoming series of home matches, the Torpedo hockey players will have to play against the main outsiders of the current WHL regular championship. The team from Nizhny Novgorod will host the Sverdlovsk Region National Team at their home arena. Based on the results of 30 matches played, the Sverdlovsk region team was able to score only 7 points and conceded as many as 193 goals. The SKSO hockey players will most likely not leave last place, given that their competitors have 10 points more to their credit.
The Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo hockey players will play home matches against SKSO on January 15, 17 and 18. The first two matches will begin at 18:30, and the starting throw-in of the final one is scheduled for 13:00 Moscow time.
