On June 23, Wagner PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin accused the Ministry of Defense of hitting his company’s positions and said that his fighters were going to Moscow to “sort it out”. The FSB opened a criminal case against Yevgeny Prigozhin for armed rebellion. The Wagnerian column was 200 km from Moscow. According to the NYT, unlike the events of late 2021, when US intelligence declassified information about Russia’s preparation for a military operation in Ukraine, now the US intelligence services have consciously decided not to do this. American officials said they assumed that such information could give Vladimir Putin a reason to accuse the West of organizing a coup d’état.
The National Anti-Terrorism Committee on June 24 against the backdrop of the actions of PMC “Wagner” informedthat a counter-terrorist operation regime has been introduced on the territory of Moscow, the Voronezh and Moscow regions. - Alfa-Bank — 90 rubles/$ and 99 rubles/€ versus 96.77 rubles/$ and 106.21 rubles/€;
- VTB — 91.81 rubles/$ and 100.41 rubles/€ versus 94.5 rubles/$ and 102.5 rubles/€;
- Gazprombank — 91.85 rubles/$ and 98 rubles/€ versus from 97.3 rubles/$ and 104.3 rubles/€;
- Raiffeisenbank – 92.46 rubles/$ and 98.96 rubles/€ versus 97.55 rubles/$ and 106.4 rubles/€.
Airfare on June 25 stabilized, after sharply increased on June 24 due to the military mutiny of the Wagner PMC. Tickets for a flight to Dubai on June 25 cost about 48 thousand rubles, to Istanbul – 25 thousand rubles, a direct flight to Yerevan – 44 thousand rubles. Tickets to Tbilisi with two transfers – 41.4 thousand rubles.
June 25 at the age of 93 died one of the founders of the Yabloko party, co-author of the Russian Constitution Viktor Sheinis. The date and place of the funeral of Viktor Sheinis has not yet been determined.
