Tomsk residents won 6 awards at the knife throwing championship in Novosibirsk

The administration of the Tomsk region reported that the championship and championship of the Siberian Federal District in sports knife throwing took place in Novosibirsk.
In total, Tomsk athletes won six awards of varying values at distances of 3 and 5 meters.
Two Tomsk coaches received a teaching license for the sport “sports knife throwing”. Eight more Tomsk athletes fulfilled various standards for categories – from III youth to I adult.
More than 100 athletes of different ages from 7 regions of the Siberian Federal District came to Novosibirsk for the competition: Altai Territory, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Irkutsk Region, Kemerovo Region-Kuzbass, Novosibirsk Region, Omsk Region, Tomsk Region.
Knife throwing is developing dynamically as a sport; it is practiced in 75 regions of Russia. The competition system is being improved. Knife throwing is an official sport recognized in Russia since 2019.
