The Kazakh authorities are categorically against the introduction of economic sanctions, which have a negative impact on global trade and the welfare of countries. This statement was made by the country’s leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the Council of CIS Heads of State.
The President of Kazakhstan focused on the growing geopolitical differences, especially noting the increased volatility in the global economy.
On October 13, a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State was held in Bishkek. Leaders of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia took part in it.
