Today, the country’s schools will host the action “IT-Knowledge Day”

As stated in the Ministry of Education and the Russian society “Knowledge”, more than two thousand schools have registered to participate in the action.

Specialists of IT companies will tell schoolchildren what video technologies are, what services we use every day, they are used, what knowledge programmers should have, what platforms they need to be able to use. And, perhaps most importantly, what school subjects you need to immerse yourself in in order to become a qualified IT specialist.

As Deputy Minister of Education Tatyana Vasilyeva noted, the department is actively working on early career guidance for schoolchildren.

– It is important that the guys as early as possible could choose the specialty they are interested in and devote more time to studying it in depth. Today, IT specialists are among the most demanded in the labor market, and participation in the events of the IT Knowledge Day can be a good start for schoolchildren, – said Tatyana Vasilyeva.

The organizers of the action note that the younger generation quite often uses video content not only for entertainment, but also for educational purposes. That is, we can say that children and teenagers grow and develop together with video technologies. And this direction of education should be supported.
