Krasnodar head coach Alexander Storozhuk commented defeat of his team in the 4th round of the Russian Cup from Pari NN Nizhny Novgorod with a score of 0:1.
“To win, you have to score. You need to run, to find yourself in positions from which you can excel. And at least hit the gate. It seemed that we started well, interacted well, but then allowed the opponent to seize the initiative. There were no dangerous moments both at our gates and at the gates of the opponent. The whole game was in the center of the field. Very dissatisfied with transitional phases. I will not be justified by such criteria as freshness, the road done, it was necessary to show character. We tried to rehabilitate ourselves after defeats in the championship, but it didn’t work out, – the specialist noted.
On October 22, Krasnodar will again play with Pari NN in Nizhny Novgorod, but already as part of the 14th round of the Russian Premier League.
