US President Joe Biden appeared last in the conference room at the final meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, forcing heads of delegations to wait at the table.
All participants in the final meeting in San Francisco sat and waited for the arrival of Biden, who entered the meeting room with the sounds of seagulls and music in the background. Due to delays, the meeting began half an hour later than planned.
At the same time, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, as before at his boss’s speeches, watched closely behind Biden’s speech.
The APEC summit ended in San Francisco on November 17. The final declaration was accepted by all forum participants, including Russia, which was represented by Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk.
APEC is a trade and economic forum that includes 21 economies in the Asia-Pacific region.
