Ronnie Turner, the son of singer and actress Tina Turner and the late singer Ike Turner, has been found dead in his apartment in Los Angeles’ upscale Encino neighborhood.
According to THR, citing information from the city’s police department, the cops arrived on a call from neighbors on the emergency phone. Soon the identity of the deceased was established.
Tina Turner has confirmed the death of her 62-year-old son. The singer noted that Ronnie “left this world too soon.”
The exact cause of his death will be named after all the examinations. It is known that the man struggled with oncology for a long time, which he managed to defeat.
It is also reported that Ronnie’s widow, French actress and singer Afida Turner, wrote about this that since they got married in 2007, she made every effort, “but this time she could not save” her husband.
Ronald Turner starred in the 1993 biopic What Love Can Do. The role of his mother in this film was played by Angela Bassett, his father – Laurence Fishburne.
Earlier, Tina Turner lost her eldest son, Craig, whom she had from musician Raymond Hill. Craig committed suicide in 2018 when he was 59 years old.
Tina Turner turned 83 on November 26.
