Tigran Hovhannisyan spoke about meeting his rivals before the “Battle for Tula”

Participants in the “Battle for Tula” get to know their opponents the day before the fight. Master of Sports of Russia in MMA, winner of all fights in the weapons capital, Tigran Oganesyan, spoke about this on air at VGTRK.
The day before a large-scale tournament, fighters meet at the weigh-in and tournament of glances. This year, the introduction event will take place today, December 7, at the Maxi shopping center.
“The day before the fights we meet, there is a weigh-in and after that there is a duel of glances. For a minute, roughly speaking, we get to know the opponent before the fight,” said Tigran Hovhannisyan.
Each of the athletes, according to Oganesyan, enters the ring to win. However, after the tournaments everyone talks to each other and shakes hands. Everything that happened in the octagon remains there.
“We go into the ring, shake hands – nothing personal. We are all athletes, we respect each other very much, we value every fighter, every opponent,” noted Tigran Hovhannisyan.
This year, as part of the “Battle for Tula”, Tigran Hovhannisyan will fight with a strong opponent. Parviz Abdulnazarov from Moscow is also a titled athlete; he has repeatedly competed in interesting tournaments.
According to Oganesyan, the fight will be interesting. Each of the athletes must not only master the necessary technique, but also be interesting in their field.
“In any case, there should be a show, improvisation,” Tigran Hovhannisyan clarified.
The head coach of the Tula MMA Federation, Oleg Kolodkin, added that the “Battle for Tula” is a large and quite difficult event to organize. It will last about six hours.
Tomorrow, athletes from different parts of the country will meet in the modern Tula Arena center. This is not only the Central Federal District, but also the Stavropol Territory, Penza, Rostov, Chelyabinsk and Kaliningrad regions.
“There are a lot of guys from all over the country. Everyone will come, everyone wants to participate,” concluded Oleg Kolodkin.
Let us remind you that Tigran Hovhannisyan will appear in the main fight of the evening, and Harutyun Samvelyan, Alexey Gongcharov and Vladimir Lavrukhin will be able to prove themselves in the professional octagon.
In addition, Stepan Girdyuk, Maxim Samsonov and Egor Shvykin will make their debut as part of a large-scale sporting event.
