For children and adults

Ticket to the Future is not just a site where schoolchildren take tests, answering questions about their preferences and interests. This is a large-scale project that includes online and offline activities. It was launched in trial mode in 2018, and a year later, schoolchildren in grades 6-11 from 63 regions of the country joined it.

The Foundation for Humanitarian Projects is responsible for this whole story. It is this organization that oversees the multimedia parks “Russia – My History”. The strategic partner of the career guidance project is the Prosveshchenie group of companies.

How can “Ticket to the Future” help today’s students? Let’s look at specific examples. In the coming academic year in the Voronezh region, more than four thousand students will undergo early professional orientation, which, in addition to traditional testing, includes professional tests on the basis of three dozen colleges. There, the guys will get acquainted with various professions – from a turner or a cook to fashionable and now in demand IT areas.

“I was interested in the project “Ticket to the Future”, as it is important to make the right decision by choosing a profession that will be to your liking. I also gained new knowledge in areas of interest to me thanks to the professional tests present on the platform, which can be taken online on the website and by visiting the exhibition “Laboratory of the Future”, – said a 9th grade student of school No. 117 of the Krasnoarmeysky district of Volgograd Julia Biryukova.

By the way, “Ticket to the Future” is not only about schoolchildren. Thanks to the project, teacher-navigators are being trained. Their goal is to help children choose a profession as comfortably and informatively as possible from the position of professionals. The work of a teacher-navigator is communication not only with children, but also with parents, helping to understand some key points:

– what parenting style is best used to help the child successfully choose a profession;

– what professions will be in high demand in the future;

– what competencies are now in the price of employers and which of them will be in demand in the future;

– How to help your child choose the right university or college.

Online and offline

Responsible for the virtual part of vocational guidance online platform “Ticket to the Future”.

“Of course, it was difficult to start from scratch. The development of new functionality and the work of real users were going on simultaneously. From the point of view of the technological component, work on the project could be compared to an incredibly successful startup, when yesterday you made a new feature, and tomorrow tens of thousands of users use it literally in the very first minutes after the update.– told technical director of the Academy “Enlightenment” Alexander Lyakhov.

In just 3.5 months, the platform was visited by more than a million unique users. At the moment, about 1.5 million career guidance online diagnostics of schoolchildren have been conducted in the system, and more than 500 thousand students have passed all stages of testing.

From the point of view of the organizers of the project, these figures are not just a reason for pride, but also a statistical cut of the interests of schoolchildren. The data allow you to adjust both educational programs as a whole and individual areas.

We should especially note that the project “Ticket to the Future” is the winner of the “Knowledge” award. It is implemented in 85 regions of Russia and helps almost 700,000 schoolchildren to choose a specialty.

The project successfully combines online formats with real activities, when schoolchildren discuss their future in a game format in whole classes. So, for example, in Yekaterinburg, the participants of this project, guys from 8 “A” and 8 “B” classes, visited the interactive exhibition-workshop “Laboratory of the Future” about the professions of the future, which takes place in the historical park “Russia – My History”. They took part in an exciting quest consisting of eight directions: they took a test, solved tasks related to various industries. After that, the participants “built their own city of the future” – they created and defended their own social entrepreneurship project. The children were also introduced to the professions of the future, of which the profession of emotion designer aroused particular interest.

This year the exhibition is complemented by a new professional environment – agrarian, with such industries as crop production, animal husbandry, food processing, breeding and genetics, and professions that are in demand on the modern labor market. The comfortable environment was supplemented by the housing and communal services and landscaping industry.

Premiere at the end of September premiere of the first career guidance series “Ticket to the Future”.

The main characters of the series are representatives of various fields: medicine, IT, media, business, engineering, various industries, science and art, and much more. In each series, the viewer will get acquainted with the personal history of work and success, and will also make a number of certain conclusions regarding familiar professions. Unlike traditional entertainment series, “Ticket to the Future” will bring practical benefits to young people and help them look at work through the eyes of interested and successful people, symbols of their professions.

“In order to help schoolchildren decide on the choice of their future profession, we decided to talk to young people in perhaps the most popular language today – the language of TV shows. The heroes of the first season will be people who can motivate and inspire, share their drive and passion, ignite professional charisma. Perhaps it is difficult to find so many benefits and people who are not indifferent to their work in one project.commented Head of the project “Ticket to the Future”, Ivan Esin.

Feedback

In September, the best “graduates” of the “Ticket to the Future” project took part in an all-Russian campaign. It started in Moscow – 37 of the brightest reviews and photos of schoolchildren in the format of social advertising are posted throughout the capital. Regions have already begun to join the action.

Now everyone can learn the stories told by students and graduates who completed the entire cycle of career guidance formats (from testing to multimedia exposure) in 2021-2022. Many of them show how important it is to choose a profession on time and not make a mistake, how important it is for the future of each child, how to do it with interest.

“There are thousands of such reviews all over the country, which motivates us to develop the platform and create new formats for career guidance, the list of which will be significantly expanded this year. It is gratifying to see how the state invests in such services that are available free of charge and useful to children, parents, and teachers,” said Ivan Esin, Managing Director of the Humanitarian Projects Foundation.

In the coming academic year, the Ticket to the Future team plans to significantly expand its geography and organize professional trials not only in parks and educational institutions, but also at the country’s leading enterprises. And the newly erected historical parks will be immediately adapted to the tasks of professional orientation of students.
