Tianzhou-5 spacecraft docked with China’s orbital station in record time

A Chinese cargo spacecraft has set a record for docking with an orbital station. “Tianzhou-5” in an accelerated automatic mode connected with the PRC station in orbit. China’s Manned Space Flight Program Office announced this. The process from takeoff to completion of docking took no more than two hours.
According to Chinese experts, this is a world record. The carrier rocket with the Chanzhou-5 was launched from the Wenchang Cosmodrome on Hainan Island at 5:03 Moscow time. And at 07:10 the experts had already reported a successful docking. The previous Changzhou-4 rocket was able to dock with the orbital station 7 hours after takeoff.
This time, the cargo ship was able to deliver food, equipment and belongings of the new team into orbit. The first shift of cosmonauts is expected to arrive in orbit at the end of November.
