Three young chess players from the Trans-Baikal Territory were immediately included in the list of the Russian national team based on the results of their performances in 2022. This was reported on December 14 in the group of the Chess Federation of the Trans-Baikal Territory.
According to the order of the Ministry of Sports of Russia, the lists of the national team included Yana Zhapova from Aginsk and students of the Chita sports school No. 3 Dmitry Petukhov and Anastasia Shishkareva.
“For the first time in the history of the Trans-Baikal Territory, three of our young chess players at once made it to the Russian team! Congratulations to our guys!” – the message says.
