Three stages of a rocket launched from the Vostochny cosmodrome were found in the Khabarovsk Territory. About it declared head of the region Mikhail Degtyarev.
According to the governor, the stages of the Soyuz-2.1b rocket fell 28 km from the village of Shakhtinsky, between the Nizhny Desh and Tastakh rivers. Three steps were discovered immediately, the search for the fourth continues.
Degtyarev recalled that the residents of the Shakhtinsky village were evacuated an hour before the start. They were later returned home.
A group of ecologists has now flown to the place of detection of the steps, which will take samples and send them to the laboratory.
Recall that the Soyuz 2.1b rocket with the Luna-25 station was launched from the Vostochny cosmodrome at 02:11 Moscow time. After nine minutes of launch, the Fregat upper stage with the Luna-25 station separated from the third leg, and then went into low Earth orbit.
