Three Real Madrid youth players detained for distributing sexually explicit videos

Three players from the youth team of Real Madrid and one player from the reserve team of the Real Madrid Castilla club were detained for distributing a video of a sexual nature with a 16-year-old girl via WhatsApp. The newspaper reported this El Confidencial with reference to sources familiar with the case materials.

The names of the players are not announced. They were taken to the police station this morning, September 14. The investigation admits that other football club players were also involved in the incident.

The investigation began after a complaint from the mother of a minor girl. In a statement filed on September 6, she claimed that her daughter had a “consensual” sexual relationship with one of the players, but did not know about the distribution of the video to “third parties.” As the newspaper notes, the girl was assured that the video filmed at the Amadores Beach Club nightclub in mid-June had been deleted.

Real Madrid has published an official statement, in which he said that the club’s management is aware of the detention of the players. “When the club receives detailed information about the facts, it will take appropriate action,” the statement said.

According to the Spanish law on “guarantees of sexual freedom”, it is prohibited to distribute videos and photos of a sexual nature without the prior consent of one of the parties. Sanctions include imprisonment for a term of three months to a year or a fine.
