Three Kostroma trotters are in the lead at the Russian Drive tournament

The Russian Equestrian Association reports on the Russian Troika Festival “Russian Drive” that took place in the Vladimir region at the Kopiski Estate “Bogdarnya”. This festival takes place twice a year – in February and August – and takes place in two qualifying exercises – figure riding and a prize race.
For the tournament participants, the most important element is figure riding – going around corners, driving through gates and arches. These exercises, simulating driving around the city, best demonstrate how a postilion has mastered the art of driving a Russian troika.
The team of the Kostroma region was represented at the festival by the master rider of the State Budgetary Institution of Educational Institution “Sports School with a Hippodrome” Evgeniy Morozov with the root horse Goba Lok – and showed a good result: in the overall standings, the Russian trio from Kostroma took second place.
