Three karatekas from Chukotka will perform at the Russian Championship in Kyokushin

On March 25 and 26, 2023, the Championship and Championship of Russia in Kyokushin will be held in Vladivostok. More than 600 karatekas from 37 regions of the country will become participants. For the first time, Primorsky Krai will host such a number of representatives of Japanese martial art at competitions of an all-Russian scale. The national team of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, accompanied by a coach, will be represented by three karatekas.
The regional team included students of the District Children’s and Youth Sports School Elizaveta and Ekaterina Slobodenyuk, Mikhail Shilovich. Athletes will perform at the Championship in the age category of 14-15 years. The guys are being trained by the candidate for master of sports in Kyokushin, second dan black belt Anton Simonov.
It should be noted that all representatives of the team are experienced athletes. Ekaterina Slobodenyuk and Mikhail Shilovich in 2023 have already won silver medals of the Kyokushin Championship of the Far Eastern Federal District. In addition, Ekaterina is the vice-champion of the All-Russian competition “Eastern Frontier”. Her sister, Elizaveta Slobodenyuk, took bronze at the same competitions.
The championship and championship of Russia in Kyokushin will be held in the Vladivostok sports complex “Olympiets” at the address: Batareinaya street, 2. The beginning of the competition is daily at 10.00. Entrance for spectators is free.
