The Threads social network has launched a web version of the application. About it informed the head of Meta (recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation) Mark Zuckerberg. Previously, in the browser, you could only look at the profile of an individual user, and when you tried to interact with him, a QR code was shown to download the mobile application.
The web version of Threads will be available to all users in the coming days. It will be possible to publish new posts, view the feed and write messages. The interface of the web version repeats the mobile version, but some navigation elements have been swapped. On the web, you still won’t be able to edit your profile or send a private message to Instagram.
Previous Threads announced new features of reposts: now users will be able to see them both in the chronological feed and in a separate tab. Also social network added the ability to view posts liked by the user.
