Thousands of northerners will join the All-Russian mass race “Ski Track of Russia”

In 2023, more than 389 thousand people from 73 subjects of the Russian Federation will participate in the All-Russian mass race “Ski Track of Russia”. Among them will be thousands of residents of the Murmansk region.
The race has been running since 1982. A sporting event has long entered the lives of polar skiers, and they regularly take part in it.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Northern Region, on the Kola Peninsula, the Ski Track of Russia will start immediately in 14 municipalities. Races will be held not only in large cities, but also in smaller ones: Revda, Lovozero and Zelenoborsk.
“The central start will be given on February 11 at 12.00 on the ski slopes of the Valley of Comfort,” noted in the department.
Skiers are waiting for a race at a distance of five and ten kilometers, depending on age.
Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” said that in the Murmansk region will take place Russian championship in luge.
