Honored coach of the USSR in figure skating Tatyana Tarasova commented on the departure of the General Secretary of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) Anastasia Davydova.
“This is a personal matter for each person,” Tarasova said.
Tatyana Pokrovskaya, head coach of the Russian national team in synchronized swimming, said earlier that she had learned about the departure of the five-time Olympic champion in synchronized swimming Davydova from the country. At the same time, the ROC on the official website said that it does not currently have such information.
Davydova has won five gold medals at the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympics and has 13 World Championships. Davydova has been the Secretary General of the ROC since May 2014.
