Senator Paul calls the Ukraine aid bill a “direct insult”
Republican Senator Rand Paul called the bill, which implies assistance to Ukraine, a “direct insult” to Americans. He emphasized that Washington is allocating $60 billion to “a regime notorious for its corruption.”
The Republican from Kentucky pointed out that the allocation of $300 million will be used to protect the Ukrainian borders, but the authorities are ignoring the situation in the southern United States.
“This bill is not only wrong, it is a direct insult to every American, especially at a time when our borders remain unprotected,” the senator wrote in a post on the social network X.
He emphasized that Washington is not going to solve internal problems in any way, but is proposing “fake reforms.”
