Traffic on the damaged sections of the Crimean Bridge is planned to be resumed within 7-10 days. This statement was made by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin following the opening of a section of the M-12 highway.

“Firstly, the new span has been placed at the marking point, it has already been completely installed… Now we will lay asphalt on it, make lighting, make a barrier…,” said Khusnullin.

He noted that after these works the bridge will be completely ready and cars will be able to drive across it.

The Deputy Prime Minister also added that construction crews will then begin to restore the existing parts of the bridge.
