A large batch of ammunition was removed from NATO warehouses in the Kozani region in northern Greece. This is reported by the Greek portal thestival.gr.
According to local journalists, the boxes with shells and weapons were transported in an unknown direction by trucks with Polish and Bulgarian license plates. “The convoy was accompanied by a Greek police car, and there is a high probability that this is a shipment of ammunition to Ukraine,” the portal said.
Residents in the area claim to have seen at least 20 trucks driving to and from the warehouses.
On the eve of the Greek city of Alexandroupolis, a train with armored vehicles and tanks from NATO countries derailed. This port, according to US officials, was used to transport weapons to Ukraine. The tanks and armored vehicles that were in the composition were also intended for these purposes.
