Actor Evgeny Gerchakov completely scared his many fans. Last week, the artist was urgently hospitalized. Doctors suspected the star of Soviet and Russian cinema of a hypertensive crisis. However, now there have been changes in his condition. Gerchakov himself told MK correspondents about this.
“I was discharged today: I’m already at home,” the actor told MK. – I feel decent. The hospital provided me with very good care. They didn’t give any injections, though. The doctors were very attentive to me. As you know, I was admitted to the hospital with very high blood pressure: my blood pressure was two hundred and something. Doctors were able to stabilize him.
“Now I need to monitor my health and blood pressure, in particular,” the actor continues. – I never checked it. Maybe forty years ago I last measured it. Now I check it every day. Now my blood pressure is good. Not 120 to 80, of course. 150. But for a 75-year-old man, as doctors told me, this pressure is normal. I feel good.
Before discharge, doctors gave Gerchakov the necessary recommendations. True, the actor believes that it will be extremely difficult for him to comply with them.
“They said that we need to take care of our health and not worry,” the artist shares. “But this is very difficult to do.” How can you not worry when you work as an artist? Our profession requires emotional investment. There’s nothing you can do about it.
After being discharged from the hospital, Gerchakov does not plan to stay at home. Tomorrow he is going to go to work.
“I have a performance planned,” says the artist. – I will play with full dedication, as before.
