The Zaporozhye region team received 12 medals at the MMA competitions held on March 30 in the city of Mariupol, reports regional Ministry of Sports and Tourism.
The first “Interregional MMA Mixed Martial Arts Competition” brought together more than 110 fighters from new regions. The Zaporozhye region was represented by fighters from the regional Federation of Mixed Martial Arts MMA, as well as fighters from the Military Commandant’s Office.
Zaporozhye region took second place, receiving 12 medals: 7 silver and 5 bronze.
