During the summer off-season, Major League clubs made minor changes to their names. There were some adjustments in the structure and name of the youth team of the Torpedo system. For 3 seasons in a row, the Norman team played in the Major League from Nizhny Novgorod, but it was decided to change the name to Torpedo-2.
Under this name, Dmitry Chugunov’s team played at the pre-season Chkalov Cup, which took place at the end of August on the floor of the Meshchersky Sports and Recreation Center.
