The fifth round of the youth volleyball league ended in Labytnangi – the teams played their final matches. “Fakel” from Novy Urengoy beat their peers from Novokuibyshevsk and completed the home tour with five wins in six matches, according to the website of the Yamal volleyball club.
On the final day of the tour, the Fakel youth team met with the Nova-2 team from Novokuibyshevsk. The match ended with a score of 1:3 in favor of the northerners.
“I’m happy with the points, but not with the content of the game. We make a lot of mistakes, and out of the blue. The only game was the last one in the game against Nova-2, in which we made fewer mistakes than our opponents. We had problems with the composition, we had to put the diagonal in the center, and move the setter to the diagonal. And so we played almost the entire tour. We will continue to work, the main thing is that the guys have the desire,” commented Fakel head coach Valery Andrievich.
