The youngest football team in the world will debut at the Ulan-Ude Cup

FC Minsk will take part for the first time in the Ulan-Ude Futsal Cup, which will be held in Buryatia from January 4 to 8. The Minsk club plays in the Major League of the Belarusian Championship and is in 4th place this season.
Head coach – Alexander Chernik. The most experienced player on the team is 41-year-old Alexander Olshevsky.
“This season, Football Club Minsk became the youngest team out of 851 clubs (53 world leagues were studied) in the ranking of the International Center for Sports Studies (CIES). Such a global event happened in the history of our club for the first time in all the years of the existence of the men’s team. In 2023, almost the entire core team of the “citizens” took part in international competitions under the auspices of UEFA as part of the youth and junior national teams of Belarus,” the club’s website reports.
There are more than 1000 people in FC Minsk – football players of the men’s and women’s major league teams, young academy players, coaches, and administration.
