The team of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug took part in the Ural Federal District mini-football (futsal) tournament. This was reported in the press service of the department.
According to the results of the tournament, Yamal futsal players took second place. The Ekaterinburg team became the champion of the Ural Federal District, and Chelyabinsk athletes took third place in the ranking.
“At this tournament we fought to the end – thanks to my team, but the team from Yekaterinburg turned out to be stronger,” noted the captain of the Yamal team, Alexander Safaralleev. Safaralleev also won in the “Best Player” category of the tournament.
Let us add that the tournament was held in Yekaterinburg, and its winners will represent the Ural Federal District at the All-Russian mini-football competitions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
It was previously reported that Yamal people won prizes at competitions in fire and rescue sports.
