The XXXII Spartakiad of Nuclear Scientists took place in Desnogorsk

The XXXII Spartakiad ended at the Smolensk NPP, in which more than 600 workers and veterans of the nuclear plant, as well as representatives of contractors, took part. During the year they competed in 17 disciplines. The chief engineer of the Smolensk NPP, Alexey Leshchenko, expressed confidence that sporting events contribute to the formation of the team, unite the team and create a favorable environment for cooperation.

The reactor shop team showed impressive results, winning six top medals in various sports. In the individual competitions, Andrey Yakovlev, Elena Belyakova, Denis Filimonenkov and Vitaly Chvanov stand out. The united team “Fans” also showed itself to be strong, winning in five disciplines.

Other teams, such as the chemical shop, the thermal automation and measurement shop, the electrical shop, and others, also demonstrated their sports skills, becoming winners in various types of competitions.

The Spartakiad ended with a drawing of more than a hundred valuable gifts at the lottery drum, which was not only a pleasant finish to the sporting event, but also a way to emphasize the importance of the participation and support of each participant. This also contributes to the formation of a positive corporate culture and emphasizes the importance of the social component of work within the company.

It is noted that the government, regional authorities and large companies, such as the Rosatom State Corporation, are investing efforts in supporting various sports and sporting events. This is an important part of corporate social responsibility to promote health and team spirit among employees.
