The working group on military operations under the State Duma sent President Vladimir Putin its tenth report on measures to support participants in the hostilities in Ukraine. This was reported in Telegram head of the working group Andrey Turchak. One of the proposals is to provide medical care to veterans and disabled combat veterans out of turn.

“Today we sent the next, tenth report to the head of state. It proposes new solutions: to work out and approve the procedure for receiving medical care for veterans and disabled combatants out of turn, including pre-registration for an appointment,” said Andrei Turchak. Now veterans have the right to extraordinary medical care, but due to the lack of precise rules, they, according to him, go to doctors under general conditions.

In addition, the working group proposed to clarify the procedure for lifting restrictions on debtors’ accounts among SVO participants, since situations often arise when proceedings are suspended, but restrictions remain. “Because of this, fighters cannot freely dispose of funds, including combat payments,” the deputy explained.

The working group also proposed equating military children who are 18 years old but have not yet entered universities with family members. “Now such children who have graduated from school but have not yet been enrolled in universities are left without the required social guarantees,” explained Andrei Turchak.

In January, the working group on military operations under the State Duma is due to submit a report to Vladimir Putin on the results of a year of work. The group was founded in December 2022 by order of the president. The same group was created under the Human Rights Council under the President of Russia.
