The head of Labytnanga, Marina Treskova, also spoke about the competition on her social networks.

“I’m glad that the slopes of Oktyabrsky have been conquered by athletes, and in our polar town there is such a powerful development of this ultra-modern sport. All this became possible thanks to the created infrastructure. Over the past few years, the heating and water supply and lighting systems have been replaced, diesel units, a snowcat for preparing the slope, and snowmobiles have been purchased. For lovers of active recreation, the equipment has been completely updated,” Treskova said.

She recalled that this season, with the support of the governor, will begin construction modular building. The facility is needed by guests of the complex and children who are learning to snowboard.
